52 cm Trek 560 Pro Series, Reynolds 531 Tubing, converted to single speed, Silver. Shimano 600 cranks, Compy saddle, Modelo bars, campus pedals, Shimano 105 brake calipers, hand-built wheels with Alex AT450 rims to Formula hubs with Kenda Contender tires, some zippy fenders and fresh housing, cables, bar wrap, chain and cassette. Named for Nelson Algren, the Chicago author of The Man with the Golden Arm and one of the best quotes about Chicago ever, “Chicago is an October sort of city even in spring.”
